Thanks guys. Back at this thing again finally. Rather productive day yesterday, got about another dozen tubes tacked in, only a half-dozen left I think before it goes if for final welding.

Should get most of the other tubes in today, then weld it out this week when I'm not out at site.

Excuse me if this has already been covered, but what kind of power do you expect out of
this engine? How much boost are you expecting? I know the old DSM motors can make a
TON of hp at 45+ psi, but I'm not familiar with the strength/limits of SRT blocks.

First rate craftsmanship on the cage and build, can't wait to see this thing run!

Aiming for around 1000 HP at the wheels. What I can put to the salt will be different and I will be running low boost and building it up as traction allows.

That's not a roll cage, it's a survival cell.  Not that that's a bad thing.  Amazing craftsmanship!

I agree 100% and what's even more amazing is that most of it was done seated or lying in awkward positions.

This cage looks like it would be right at home in a "Bounce Truck"  but then if you are going to put 1000 to a FWD car  a stiff platform will be appreciated.     :-)

I grew up with Canadian guys and always liked them but only now do I get the sense of humour.

You're rubbing our noses in it Chris. :-D

Why don't you use a lousy out of focus camera like mine???.

Awesome work brother. Just awesome.

Nice job Chris. I should have wandered out while it was there. Oh well, I'll get out there and see your set up one of these days while the weather's still nice.
