It is whatever you like, but Why a Pinto?

If he's looking a production class, I see the logic.

A. Easy to modify
B. Okay (not great, but okay) aero with a small frontal area
C. Cheap
D. Parts readily available
E. Wouldn't require a lot of re-engineering

Did I mention that they were cheap?

Yes i see the cheap part. The Capri has the same 2 liter engine. Maybe smaller. Maybe more money. Nicer looking. I think. I wanted an Opel Manta in '79 for the altered we were building at the time. Gary proved to me that the Vega was smaller. And I got two for free.  I gave one Vega to Wayn Phillips and he put a Pinto in it. Wasn't to fast. I guess I just don't like Pinto's But you do so have at it.

Depending on what he has for a rollcage, this might be a good start: http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/cto/3273593716.html

It would have nice if he had given a better (more thorough) description.  (Or maybe it's the newly divorced wife?)
