question on classifcation of the car I want to build

I want to build a Ford Pinto with blown Hyabusa motorcycle engine. Is there a class or what class would that be? The pinto can be a classic but, I don't see any motors smaller than a F in the classic blown fuel altered class? What do you guys think? I appreciate any feed back.

That is the rule as I read it. Engine classes from AA to F. Pretty clear. I guess you would be on BFAlt. No Classic.

You can buy busa's as a V8 now! That would be a good power plant

classic would require no efi (or that stock pinto efi if it ever came with it), distributed ignition, and carb or mechanical injection.  plus, i saw a proposed rule change that would outlaw bike engines in classic.

so yeah, sounds like regular ol' altered is it.  not sure if a pinto would be very competitive without being in classic.... or you can just be into it for the fun so who cares at that point.
