I've searched the forums and found two old threads pertaining to trikes; one from 2007 and one from 2009. With the number of three wheeled motorcycles around these days, both production and homebrewed, when is SCTA going to open/re-open the trike class? I have a 57 servi that would love to set a record on the salt in 2013, not just pickup a time slip for going fast.

As I recall there were 3 trikes back then. All 3 were built for the sand hills and decided to try for LSR at El Mirage. Dan can correct me on this but I think they bought 3rd entry with out a trike to make a class. As I recall there was little or not long lasting interest in the class. They did run at the salt a couple of times.
At this point I don't see a lot of requests for this class.

BTW, I see a lot of side cars going through Utah to the National parks. You must live on a different planet.

Whats a 2.25 wheeler?  You either got 3 wheels or you don't.

It's called Humor Lite, all the joke buildup, with 50% less punchline.  Ideal for those who can't take too much.  :-D

Meh.  I've ridden a "few".  I've owned a "few".

From reading Mr. Trouble's posts, I get the feeling that after building and racing sidecars for over 50 years, I could possible learn a thing or two about 3 wheelers (sidecar) from this expert............................................................

At the BUB all motorcycle, sidecar, trike, event ......you can race your TRIKE
for a record...............

Question authority.....always
