OMG Rick, I know that carb!  :-o I grafted a Corvair turbo on my CB-750 Honda in 1970. I soldered the YF jets shut and applied the number drills. Then I switched to a Sportster Tillotson carb.  :cheers:

YH carbs were also used on early 6 Cylinder Corvettes.

I had the whole Corvair turbo setup on my 1950 Mercury in 1979. Ran pretty good, started to smoke so I pulled the flathead. Later found out the rings were just stuck to the pistons.

With Woodys permission (he was first responder) the carb is donated to an active LSR program.
Its going to good use, and at the proper time its home will be announced by the builder.

I got the YH today.

thanks to you both, I now have a 3rd carter side draft,  for a gas class intake I am building for the "new girl's" big Buick straight 8
