Must be modern and well built to current rules (or easily modified to meet current rules) at 175+ MPH.  OK if belts, fire, wheels, tires, chute, etc. need updating.  Should accomdate 6' drivers.  Ideally a proven chassis.

When do you want a car?.... i.e. for this year or next year etc.... I had my lakester for sale earlier this year.... mine is the current record holder in C/Gas Lakester at over 276mph....it went 281 at Speedweek.... fastest observed time is a T/V of over 282mph....

No urgency.  We are building two motors for 2013, N/A and blown, and would like a second chassis to work with.  Ideally we'd like it by this Fall to start mockup for our engines over the Winter, but we could wait longer if the deal was right.  What are your thoughts?

Seems like there's a few RMR's for sale, they're pretty much a lakester with a skin rash.

knowing what you guys did with your roadster i'd think you could build a lakester quicker and cheaper than buying one... or are you looking to borrow?

Building is always an option, but I'm not sure if any of us have the time or energy for another scratch-built project right now.  I have three long-mothballed car projects that I want to get to this winter so they are complete enough that I can then sell them to finance the race car projects.  They aren't worth much of anyhting as they sit.

So, we are looking for an easier, faster way into a second chassis.  The V4F blown lakester records are so soft that we NEED to go after them.  And now that there is serious competition in the N/A V4F roadster classes, we need to build another N/A motor to get some of our old records back.  This years blown motor would then go into the lakester.

In addition, we had such an awesome crew this year that we need to find more for them to do

The V4F blown lakester records are so soft that we NEED to go after them. 

i think between team stewart-creel and team distubin the peace, quite a few model b's gave their lives to set those records.  they're pretty respectable if you ask me but maybe those dodge motors like boost more than henry seems to.  you have four intake ports?

Ever since Jolliffe told me a lakester is good for 80 mph over a street roadster I can't get it out of my head...   of course I think he'd had a couple of martinis when he said it, so we need to find out for ourselves.

Ron said THAT!!!??? ...... hmmmmm..... what is the C/STR record in relation to the C/GL record? I guess that 310mph is NOT out of the question for the lakester then.....

....taking it from a "Rocket Scientist" anyway....
