Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

Wow!  My aircard used itself up, did not go into overage charges, just went dead, had to switch to the hotspot.  Sorry for the loss of signal.

Verizon kept sending me notices about being 90% + on my usage for the period ending Sept. 6.  Surely they would let me run over, but NO!  They no longer offer prepaid for this device.  And, as these little 4G hotsposts run hot, they can kick one ofline at the drop of a hat with no warning.  Soooooooooo, fingers and my ugly toes are crossed, I'm cross, and a fix is on my list to be crossed off someday.  Waaaaah . . .

Max - Dont sweat the small subaru.  We are grateful for what you have provided. If the signal is lost, just give everyone their money back.

Way back, on Bob Drury's post, he said that it would've been great if Al Teague and Tom Burkland had been there to watch.  I know Teague wasn't but Tom probably was.  He's been seen at the Shootout, I think I remember, and I know his mom is a regular at said top speed events.  Just 'cause you're not running a vehicle in the event -- don't stay away.

In past BUB events Tom has been doing the M/C streamliner Tech. and it is my understanding that for this 2012 meet he is doing just that.....................
Hey, Slim when you schedule permits, you should attend one of the BUB
M/C meets.............you are welcome you know.....how is Nancy doing?????

Bob, what do you think of Eva's electric sidecar speed from yesterday?  I believe she has a few more mph in that battery.

Thanks for the reminder, Bob.  I've sent a PM your way, but will add here that the new business -- Kudos Engraving and Design -- wants us to be here as much as possible, especially during the land speed racing season.  By skipping Bub's we get a nice long stretch at home between SpeedWeek and Wos.

As for Nancy -- she's doing better and better everyday, not using the arm sling nearly as much, taking over the counter pain pills (instead of the pure heroin that the Doc gave her at Univ. Hosp. in SLC).  She helped load/unload the mower into the pickup today, and she got into and out of the hot tub all by herself last night.  Pretty well, I'd say.  We leave Labor Day for Bonneville, and by then she'll feel good enough (we hope) to do her regular share of the driving.  Thanks for asking.
