Glitch.  On.  Sorry deal without the more reliable Verizon stick.  Hotspot, crock pot.  This is why I wear the headphones on the monitoring computer's output to know if a glitch glitches.  10 foot tether to keep me from wandering off and oggling the machinery, visiting the starting line, and wherever else the salt experience compass points my feet.  Now I have to find a Verizon store and prepay my bill, like I did a few weeks ago, so this inconvenience does not inconvene.

So, the teams come and go from tech & impound.  I see it all from my viewpoint in this salty paradise of speed & social dynamic.  Oh, oh, the sun must be cooking my coco.  Time for another lemon iced tea and a bit of patio chair yoga to kink me back into bliss.

The constant non-racer, I took the hotspot apart and looked through the kit for something to use as a re-set tool.  Learned something.  Hotspots need a chill pad of their own.  Or, I can run the car for 14 hours to keep the air conditioning running.

Mary 7 Motorcycles and Cafe, another team from Japan running a 1350 Harley FXR, was decidedly pleased when Drew spinkled holy water on the engine measurement.  Normally extremely aloof, I saw some jumping and high fiving, ran over and took their picture with their camera to capture the moment.  Phone ringing, wife, buzz kill . . .

Bob, your right about the conditions.  We drag raced a door car for years, we would innevitably go over center with the tune-up or clutch when we thought air/track conditions warranted it.  Ussually the car slowed down or broke or both. Bad tune-ups are like nitrous, if you have a week spot it will find it.  I hope and pray whoever crashed is ok, broken parts are ok...people not so much. I think I will fire up the bbq and make a martini.  :-P

Thank you so much for the broadcast, Moxnix! I can't get it to work on my office computer, but then I run home and it works great on my home computer.

Is anyone taking photos and posting them somewhere? Have not seen any posted so far.

Thanks again,
Don

BUB's Facebook page, S&S page, and others.  My photos will be posted when home this weekend, if I decide to go home, or make a break for the coast.

I killed my Hackentosh when opeing a door in the downpour, it hitting the salt soup.  Wasn't plugged in, but it's conked out and may or may not be brought back from the dead.  I gave an old backup computer to the radio guys, never wanting to see it again, so they can listen to themselves with a 7 second delay for entertainment purposes.  The other backup unit is on the car floor, won't sign in the IP for Verizon.  So, one good computer puts out, the other monitors, and I dasn't try uploading photos whilst they deliver the goods.

Clearly, 5 laptops for a trip to B'ville ain't enough.  A designated sender, a designated bringer-inner, and a dedicated cruise the web and upload photos unit ought to keep my computer repair guy as happy as my son's orthodontist.

Thanks for the Dununder soundchck.  Terry's rig is one sweet Vincent.

A couple of your countrymen & women around, and our friend Grumm hasn't raced off for the airport in Caleefornia that I know of.

Second fastest bike of the meet is Greg Watters.

Any results from today? There isn't much on the Facebook site. No results there or anything. I was bummed to see my buddy Steve Hamel didn't get his Vincent out yesterday. Any news for him?

Thanks!

Done.

My Verizin hotspot stopped to tell me I am 90%.  Cripes, I'll pay the darn over use.

Hang on, awaiting today's results to post.
