From the SCTA website: Long time High Desert Racer Larry Burford passed away about 11:30pm - Aug 8. He was surrounded by his family. He will be greatly missed by everyone. RIP and Godspeed Larry.

I love the USA. How much longer will we be a free nation?

Asking questions is one's only way of getting answers.

The rational person lets verified facts form or modify his opinion.  The ideologue ignores verified facts which don't fit his preconceived opinions.

Just read this on SCTA site, so very sad. As a former SCTA Course Steward, I always enjoyed hearing Larry's stories running the early lakes with his high school chum, Skip Hedrich. The middle course road will Always be: Burford Boulevard behind the timing tower! God Speed "Big Foot" Larry
