Speaking of big magnets . . . Ray, these Landracing.com door magnets, I can leave them with someone, maybe Lynda, or touch bases if you get near Slim's pit.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

Hello Everyone,

Thanks so much for posting the stories and photos from this years event!

I love the radio coverage, it makes this firefighter (who is stuck at the station on a 48hr shift) seem like he's there.

My question is this....... is there a web page that lists the speeds that have been recorded so far for the event?

Please keep the pics coming!

Thanks Again,
Roger Jordan

Ray or Jon, any word on Nancys' injury yet?  Hopefully nothing too serious.  Hopefully she got away from the bike when she went down... too easy to get tangled up with it when you spill.
Ray and Mike, thanks agin for the great pics.  keep them coming.  Those sunrises and sets are killing me... remeber them well...

Welcome Jekyll!

Late this evening or early tomorrow (depending), when the day's results are collated and checked for correctness, they will be posted here: http://www.scta-bni.org/Bonneville/Speedweek%202012/results.html

Hi Ray any word on Nancy yet, hope all is well & good !!

Hi Woodstock,

I have fond memories of being on the salt early, and down the course alone it is some kind of Magic being there that is hard to explain to somebody else.

Plus where else can you get to hear a blown fuel burning engine run for 5 miles ' Priceless '

A real gearhead heaven on earth.

Don

DND, so well written and said.  I cover a lot of motorsports and this is my first landracing event.  As a serious car guy and hot rodder, NOTHING can touch this experience, and I've only been here two days essentially.  The people, above all, are what stand out for me.  Unquestionably, I have never been to any event where everyone is so friendly and collegiate.  The sights, smells, air, light, sound, setting, etc. are one of a kind.  Again, my best wishes to Nancy.
