The Blowfish looped it with malice aforethought, so to speak.  I counted six or seven go-rounds - and part of the spin was hidden from me by the announcing trailer in front of our pit.

I don't know if it was PP driving the #1000 as I was leaving the salt, but the car ran in the just-under 200 range around 5PM or so.  If it was our friend Thomas -- good for you, friend.  Having fun yet?

Nancy's doing well enough that she wants to go two a restaurant tonight.  This'll be her first time out of the room since we got back from hospital in SLC Sunday.  Where do we find Shrimp Alfredo in Wendover?

A little issue for the 788 liner.

The chute came out before the 3 and the liner slowed to a stop in front of me.

It was when Rick stopped on course that the EVs started to roll and they seemed a bit concerned.  Pretty soon there were lotsa EVs surrounding the liner, but it seemed none the worse for wear when it came back on the trailer (I missed that shot) about 20 minutes later.

I think things have calmed down for the moment, so I'm gonna go get some food.

What?  You mean that the Mexican truck stop restaurant doesn't have Shrimp Alfredo?

Actually the Italian Resturaunt in the Motego Bay Casino is pretty good, but it is only open certain nights. I took my crew there last year after 5 days of buffets, truck stop food and sandwich meat. It was pretty good and not crazy expensive.

You got a tough girl there. She must not be out of Vicodin yet.

I still whince every time I think about my broken ribs.  No fun at all.

Worst part is when the ER Doc finds out you did it on a MC they are sorry they missed out on another organ donor.

Talked with Danny Burrow a few minutes ago.  Said the Blowfish's Racepack was reading 278 mph when he spun out.  12 revolutions over 1.5 miles.  They are on the trailer but will be back.

We ended up at the cafe restaurant at the Nugget.  Nancy elected the grilled red pepper chicken noodle thing and enjoyed it.  And best of all -- she got to have about half the people in the place stop by our table to ask about her.  I don't think she realised how many folks had been asking me about her.

Oh, yeah -- the ER and other docs were impressed by her safety garb - didn't hassle us about being the common misconception of bikers.  I think it was the leathers that were cut off -- only to find the Kevlar undergarments we both wear.  That one dang near stumped them -- had to use HD metal shears to get them off.

That's gotta be a world record. Deserves a prize for largest cojones.
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.
