ECTA Public Relations... for free!
« on: August 07, 2012, 01:40:51 AM »
I just returned from the Pontiac Tri-Power Nationals event at Summit Raceway in Norwalk, Ohio, where I displayed my Lakester (right next to Arnie Beswick and his 60th anniversary of dragracing layout!). Although the tank is engine-less with merely a "Future Pontiac power" sign on it, I wanted to show the Pontiac fans a "different" sort of Pontiac project. It attracted much attention and conversations- especially since most midwesterners are aware of ECTA now running in Ohio. The ECTA stickers on the car made for good P.R.!

thats cool jack! we go every tuesday nite to our local drag strip [atco nj] and we are known as the ECTA bike we got the patch on my leathers, decal on the bike, record holder lic plate frame...LOL. its to the point that we keep the rule book handy to let interested people know what class they can run in.
