Who has real-world experience with the M@H 29" (x 15") front runner-type tires at the Bonneville Salt Flats?
Interested in finding out how fast you went with these (what type/weight of vehicle) - installed on your REAR wheels, of course.
What speeds would you consider safe?
Thanks,
Willi

Drag tires will take a lot of RPM.  However they are designed for light vehicles.  No drag MFR I've contacted will comment on weight rating, other than "these won't hold your weight".

I blew up a MH drag radial at 2000lb x 60 mph.

There is a testing lab in the Great Lakes region that will test up to 215mph at any load you wish, for as long as you require the test to last.  They video tape it and give you a data sheet.  IIRC, it was about $800 each test.  Standard Testing Labs?  Pretty sure that's the name.

Even if somebody got away with it, don't plan on you have the same results.  You might, you might not.
