I think one episode of the old TV show "Run For Your Life" concerned LSR. The opening on the show was a film of the black center line going by at high speed. It starred Ben Gazzara (sp?).

These folks have done a Bonneville documentary: http://www.whistlestoptv.com/docs.html

And they will be on the salt again this year to film for 6 one hour specials~

They will only film those with clean t-shirts and shop rags!  :-o :-D

National Geographic did a documentary in 2006 called Salt Flat Speedway...

Kicka** Factory did a 2 1/2 hour double DVD called "Under The Radar" - Go Fast Or Go Home.... these guys are out of Australia and really nice people.... the video is for sale direct from them.... looks like they want USD33.00 for one or USD28.00 each for two (or more)

I have posted this elsewhere, in the Absolute Land Speed Record section, but thought this thread may reach a few more interested viewers here as well.

"Break The Record" on YouTube:

"Speedquest" on YouTube:

If those don't work: http:www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOFVUNoT5wE   and   http://.youtube.com/watch?v=GmdffpaO4Vo

I guess I need an IT course.
