We so much want to return to Loring in September with the ZX-10.  Sad truth is it will be very unlikely.  Lots of expense with the repair of the ZX-6's engine.  We have found at least 4 more HP on the ZX-10 and would love to try it out in the cool air.  Those darn finances seem to get in the way sometimes.  Best of luck to everyone going.

2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R (4 200 MPH Clubs)
2008 Kawasaki EX-250R (Multiple ECTA and LTA records)
131 Land Speed Records set since 2008
125 Land Speed Racing records (including 3 Worlds Fastest Speeds) set since 2008.

Joe I hope so.  We have one coming from Cali.  The guy was a very knowledgable about all Kawasakis, so we hope it is the correct head.  It should be here middle of next week.  We are still looking though as it may be time to have a spare complete head built up and ready.  I've been told the Japan warehouse has those heads and am also following up on that.  I'm going to really miss being at Loring over Labor Day weekend.  I will be hard to live with over that time.

Racing 2 bikes with the number  of passes you make is like 2 seasons for anyone else ... missing one meet wont hurt that bad.

Joe I know you are correct, but thinking about cool air and a smaller field has me itching to be there with the ZX-10.  I know we can go faster.  Maybe 210+.  We found 4+ hp on the dyno once we got home from the Maine event.  I had 26 passes in the Maine Event.  Only one bike on Sunday and at least 10 of those passes came on Sunday.  Too many unknowns with the ZX-6 to make that trip though.  All of my resources and finances are aimed at getting that bike ready before the bike shootout in Ohio.  Oh I'll live, but no guarantee about being pleasent over that time.
