Salt, I have been a backyard mechanic/ala race car "guru" for over forty years, and I have never seen or had anyone explain what this short video has.
Not only do I thank you, but your sharing it shows that whether it is high tech or basic tech, we can always learn something new!
Let me add, topics like this are one more reason to SUPPORT THIS SITE with a Cash Donation to keep it happening.
If you don't, chances are that Nancy (Mrs. Slim) will be unable to buy new summer wear, and may show up with tattered (or holey) clothes........... wait a minute, cancel my suggestion.................. Bob

No mate, doesn't mean you're doing that right, just acceptably close enough to their way.

20 years? Trent, you rookie.

Joanie and I are spending this weekend in the Tri Valley area of Livermore, CA. Feels like we have drunk barrels of wine, which expains the $300 dinner tab last night.

Oh - 29 years BTW

Cotter pin ?   Aint them kinda expensive ?  I been usin' nails, same thing, kinda, sorta and you can buy then by the pound !

Doug, there might be a reason Barb wont let you drive .  considering your talents only seem to consist of going in a straight line, I can see why highway driving might be a challenge !  :-D

Nails are too danged expensive and probably manufactured by people that don't speak my language, so I prefer to use coat hangers from the local dry cleaners.  Lots of "safety wire" per clean shirt.

When I worked in Aerospace we had to attend every kind of class you can think of and get certified. Good information, I still have many of my instruction books and certs. Glad I had the chance to attend them and they were all free on their time.

Sending shirts to the dry cleaners ain't cheap (ever hear of wash-and-wear?  )

Personally, I use the metal hooks from broken bungie cords I find along the highway - that's cheap!

Coathangers used for cotter keys? I thought coathangers were for welding rods.  :-D
