Bill ran 290.xxx.  With all of the excitement, he forgot to shift in to 6th.
Eva went 188 but had programming problems that caused it to cut out over 3/4 throttle.

Was Bill's run to the mile and 1/2 or just to the mile?

Great event and thanks goout tothe staff and volunteers.  Bumped my best mile by 6 mph and the bikes best by 3 mph with a 160.  Best 1.5 mile was 163.  Data logging worked well and I got my first taste of tuning with the power commander.

Lobster feasts pre and post event were great and there is still a pig roast in Albany to take care of.  Combine those meals with a great meal at Cafe Sopreso in Presque Isle and this event ranks way up there on the Land Speed Culinary Tour list!

Great meet ... Tom Cronan turned in a 260 mph speed on Eric Paquette's DAS Performance air cooled 1991 Suzuki.  This guy can ride a motorcycle.

Joe

Eric's bike sounded like a fighter jet at the 1.5 mile mark!

Thanks to everyone for a safe weekend.

Enjoyed the chicken BBQ Saturday night. Also thought running Friday afternoon was a great idea even if it didn't go as smoothly as we would have liked. Hope this will be included in next years event.

Agreed! I also like the "short" course for those of us that are speed impared.
