This week end the widow maker hill climb in Utah is on. Only 26 riders have made it over tho top, 5000 have tried. Should be interesting to see. Maybe next year.
There should be some coverage on the local TV.

This is the new Widowmaker in Croydon, UT. They have been climbing there since 2003.
The old one that was featured in Bruce Brown's On Any Sunday was in Draper, Ut from 1965 to 1988.
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

You can still see the mark on the hillside from the original Widowmaker in Draper. It is now sadly just a scar on a hillside surrounded by very expensive homes.....

I thought the Widowmaker hillclimb was the only thing my home town of Billings MT was famous for.

Correct me if I am wrong, Billings hillclimb is the longest running hillclimb on the same hill. It is not, nor ever was the Widowmaker.
