The article starting on page 104 in HotRod Magazine's coverage of the inaugural Ohio, Mile starts off with me being the first participate to go down the track and ends with Keith telling D Freiburger about my having been in a wheelchair for two years and just out fifteen months before setting a record at Maxton. Then yesterday I got a copy of the Bonneville News with a picture of Garrett Pattersons truck going down the track. I have kind of been under the weather the last couple of months, 100 degree temps and bad air doesn't mix well with congestive heart desease and copd. I was hoping to be able to come back in Sept. but it looks like it Will be April before I can make it. I have been reading about al you guys and how well you've been running and I have been watching videos on You-Tube as well. Charles there is a really good picture of you going down the track in the Studebaker with a good caption underneath. Some of you have kept in touch via private message and I appreciate that, I wish everyone fast speeds, good weather and most of all safety in Sept. and I will see everyone next April God willing.
