Couple of petrol tank questions, A-PF 650cc

Hi,


   1)   Any reason why I can't run a Monza style cap on my tank?

   2)     Can I mount the tank as usual with rubber mounts, but use p-clips to allow for quick release, or does it need to be bolted to the frame?

My modified construction has a Monza cap on a custom aluminum tank bolted to the frame.......but it could have been rubber cushioned if it was not part of the frame structure.
