We had a thread here about 10 years ago discussing the MTT before it ran at Bonneville.  Some wag, I believe it was me, mentioned the location of intake and exhaust of the Allison/Rolls Royce turbine in comparison to P&W, Garrett and the Czech versions of the P&W.  Not salt friendly.   I guess it wasn't.

You're a lucky man, Zef.  Nice job on being timed over 200.

Pleased to have Zef jump in with details for the forum.

I was watching all of the on coming vehicles during the UK event and it may be necessary for even road bikes to have the top fuel type of chute attached for what are short runways. Elvington is 1.9 miles and the furthest trap was at 1.4 miles.

Of course we could always put the chute on the rider to ensure they have an accident. :evil:

Next opportunity for fast running could be in August.
