Cowl induction hoods OK for Gas Coupe / Diesel Truck?
« on: May 11, 2012, 04:55:18 PM »
Is it OK to add a cowl induction style hood to a vehicle running in Diesel Truck, which is basically per Gas Coupe rules?  I'm a little confused by the "air intake" language in the Gas Coupe rules.

I'd like to have the option of using a cowl induction hood on my Rampage, even though a true cowl induction hood was never offered.  Dodge did offer some non-functional hood bulge/covers on the Rampages, but never one with a rear opening for induction or top-mount intercooler clearance.

Any answer you get from me is worth what you paid for it. But, Yes a cowl induction hood should be fine.
