What car was george galimore driving?
It looks like he has the track record. At least I made it into the top 5.
This was a pretty darn good turn out and 14 cars got into the 200 mph club. I think that is just spectacular.
Way to go everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I mean everyone not just the 200 mph club members.

P.S. I drive the slow Acura white econobox(evo 2).

George has the blue second gen firebird. Hes best pass at maxton was 223... so he bumped it a bit in wilmington

Congratulations George for  the fastest speed of the meet.  The top speed of the very  first Ohio Mile.

We were just thrilled to be at 223.554.  Wow, and  we weren't expecting that much.  Every thing worked for us on Sun. Well maybe except for running off the end of the track.  That issue is fixed now. I have all ready made a gear change and prepping for the next time we get to go. Must save some money.

Thanks to all the fine people who put this event on. It must take lots and lots of time and dedication to make it happen. Our crew is just waiting for the next time. I talked to several people that have something in the works and wanting to get there.  Fun was had by all.

Hooley it was great to see you again and I am glad your Studebaker ran so well.

We have to compare notes sometime,, you have going fast down pat and I am real good at getting slowed down,, LOL,,,  now I need some of your speed and you need some better brakes or my lightning fast reflexes on chute deployment...LOL...

See you soon and thanks for all the words of encourgement over the years.

Stan - I took another look - you are correct - they certainly had to kill a lot of polyesters to make those shirts.

Joe, They probably won't have any tee shirts this year! How do you think Hooley fixed that second chute!  grin
