rotary rules for 2012?
« on: April 08, 2012, 02:05:41 PM »
Historically the rotary engine was 3 x SV (swept volume) correction factor.  Looking at the rulebook today, it appears to be 2X?  Can anyone confirm the latest rules regarding "swept volume" correction factors for these?  I used to play with these 20+ years ago in IMSA racing and have a few stuck away in storage.  Might be fun to take one out of the crates and play with it perhaps in an old RX7...

Quoting the previous post:   Might be fun to take one out of the crates and play with it

That insures killing the hearing of everyone bending over to get a better look.

In the dictionary the word vulgar is described by a CD of an unmuffled rotary rapping.

That's why the fudge factor is assigned to Mazdas. Power doesn't play a part in the factor.

That was changed last year... was in bold in last years book, the number is correct, no need to bother the rules guys.  This was discussed on this forum till the equestrian was fatally beaten.... and then some

Stainless, Stainless, Stainless,

Ya beat the HORSE (equus caballus), not the RIDER (Equestrian)!

Rotaries need SOME kind of penalty 'cause of the obnoxiuos NOISES they emit!

Flogged bereft of life, bloodless, bought the farm, buried, cadaverous, checked out, cold, deceased, defunct, departed, done for, expired, extinct, gone, gone to meet maker, gone to reward, inanimate, late, lifeless,  mortified, no more, not existing, offed, out of one's misery, passed away, perished, pushing up daisies, reposing, resting in peace, spiritless, stiff, unanimated, wasted Equus ferus caballus postings:

Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

IB, I knew it must be something like that... of course when the horse is dead and the beatings continue we usually start on the rider until he expires...  :-D
