Charles.

Thanks for posting the video of your tech run, its appreciated.  For us that could not attend, the video gives a real sense of the track - track looks great - a sweet run as well!

Regards.
John.

Rain stopped, they are drying the track.

Anyone up for a sound check?  Meridix homepage, search for Landracing, click ECTA Monster Mile.  Thanks in advance.

Best seat in the house, next to the timing trailer at the traps, post rainfall running, quick drying track, and as background music we're doing Milwaukee Midget's Honkytonkitis on the box.  Life is good.

Hi Slim & Nancy, hello from Wilmington.  Hope all is well in SoCal....

Max and all, we're about ready to leave Buellton, Calif - not much happening here.  Sure hope it's going well in Ohio.  It sounds like you've had some moist times. . .  Thanks for being there.

Got fiebird there and first license run yesterday at 146 +  it's the white B/GC. Had some water in oil with no damage; second license runs in June. (funny how you get smarter with age). Got yelled at by Keith for blowing the tires off in low gear and then  some advice on rolling the car out. (thanks Keith!) Got oriented to the track real well making 15 laps or so drying it. we will be ready for June . Great time had by all and so cool to see the people and cars that we read about all the time. congrats to Hooley on his 222 pass1
see you all soon

Yeah, Hooley through the lights at full tilt was a site to see.

I'm done.  I was getting output, per the webcast manager, but nix on the other end, even though the other computer told me I was live.  Still, what a great time and folks.  Post pictures tomorrow.

Pretty good reception by the local community.

Ohio Jim stopped by, he crews on the 803 car (I think that's right) out of Shasta that runs on the salt.

Met some folks from the Sportster List that was pretty active out at Bonneville +/- 10 years ago.  More later.

Hooley went 223 ... Steve Van Blarcom went 212 ... Nephew Joe went 145 on the GSXR 600 naked bike shake down run ... thinks he is running too tall gears ... sun came out once we got on the road - 40 degrees - cold/ rain off and on all weekend and 70 with sunshine for the ride home ... staging was 2 lanes wide for 1/4 mile - at least 4 hours, no way we could get another run ... late start today for rain delay plus one hold for rain ... yesterday there was a late start for rain plus 2 long stops for rain ... tough weather for a weekend event but have to say that the race course is excellent and responded to the drying process of being driven on by street vehicles quite quickly.  The demand on the volunteers is extraordinary. Had to be 500 spectators each day.

Curious if Amy and Frank got the Camaro over 140 this morning - I think she was in line for an early start.

I'd rather be racing than working - ANYDAY.
