jreken, I'm the volunteer audio guy for Seldom Seen & Co., webcasting the events for this forum live from the venue whenever possible to whoever can tune in on their computer.  Other than that, I type messages not understood by anyone.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

Our Lakester is pretty much ready to go. Still running the old motor from last season which went threw a huge tuning curve burned pistons damaged valves and related damage. The old flathead Ford V-8 block is now freshend up its ready for some more abuse. Were looking forward to running on a smooth surface and hopefully the speeds will be similar to the October Maxton runs.
Working in the shop I use the 'F' word a lot. No not that word these words Focus and Finish go Fast and Flathead Ford!

Took Amy's Camaro to the drag strip this afternoon for a final shake down to check out the c-clip elems and the new manual valve body in the tran. Dang if the thing is still overheating. Flipped the fan to pull thru, water pump, thermostat and everything working.will Idle all day with no problems, only over heats under load. too lean?? timing?? Oh well at least everthing else is good. the car pulls hard and a 1/4 mile aint long enough to get it into 3rd gear. We'll get it figured out.
