BUELL / XL REAR PULLY NEEDED
« on: April 08, 2012, 10:05:00 AM »
i need a 55tooth rear pully for either a buell / or xl, it is the oem international pully. the buell part number is 37727-97y. i believe the xl will also work. found one on e-bay but the seller wants to go full 6 days on bidding and i am running out of time. any help would be much appreciated.

Check a Buell enthusiasts site called Badweatherbikers, classifieds down at the bottom of the topics page, there is a parts wanted section.  Explain it's an emergency.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

r-13....
It would be my guess that a pulley for an XL would be 100 times more difficult to find than for a Buell.... I have worked on A LOT of Sportsters from the old days on up and I have never seen a stock sportster belt drive with other than a 61T pulley.... but thanx for the tip now!.... other sizes do exist!

Good luck on your quest!
