Offering team assistance
« on: April 01, 2012, 04:45:23 PM »
Hello All, I am looking to help/support a team at Speedweek Bonneville 2012. I live in the Denver area and am very mechanically inclined (can scrub a toilet too!) Also, if needed, have a 2500HD diesel truck (2011 Crew cab) to assist in towing/hauling. Please let me know if you are, or know of anyone, needing assistance.  Would like to be involved and have some fun!!
Thanks,

Wayne

Denver Colorado?

If so, I'm only 60 miles north of you....
With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

Well, I got one!  Wayne didn't fill in the "location" blank when registering -- so I supplied one for him.  I do that now and then for the new registrants.  I get a notice for each one that signs up, and sometimes I send a note asking that they go back to the profile and include location, sometimes I let it ride, and sometimes I make up a good-sounding town.  Nothing that a bite of Ex-Lax won't cure, in this case.

So - you're on to go into the Profile pages and set your own location.  You're welcome. . .

we are running 6 bikes this year and I am sure an extra pair of hands and a vehicle wont go amiss. Drop Desperate a line (Chris Ireland) desperate@britchopper.co.uk or Briz they will be on the salt all week.
My misses and Mother will be heading over from Longmont Co on the 8th or 9th to meet up with us there if you need trip buddies.

Longmont....that's where I'll be soon (mom lives there, where I grew up).  This world is feeling pretty small!!

Dan Wagner and I will be leaving out of LaJunta, if we can figure out the load.  My bike, trailer, and gear is there ready to run, but my tow vehicle is in SoCal and I'm lost in America.  Just had a nice visit at Max's house on Sunday in Wichita.

Maybe a caravan this year....
