Hayabusa swinarm and chain position question please
« on: March 30, 2012, 05:00:57 PM »
Hi

If anyone has a Hayabusa that they could measure please I'm after the offset distance of the chainline.

It doesn't have to be spot on, I just want to make sure I make my swingarm wide enough.

Chainline offset from the centre of the wheel or swingarm inside measurements and chainline to inside of swingarm would be great.

Thanks
Jon

g`day Jon, i slotted a Hayabusa wheel into the Turboed Kawasaki that i ran at Gairdner in 04,,, from my notes, center of rim to sprocket center 129.5mm,, sorry cant supply swingarm to sprocket,( had constructed a swingarm to adapt the wheel in the KZ frame), but, from memory, about 25mm,,, 8-)
