Watching the start that was very clean I think the pit lane may be a different challange as the wider bodies could be a bit blind coming out of their pits.

I couldn't find any online coverage after I read this in the PM but caught NASCAR AND F1 on justin.tv last night. Even the F1 guys had to stop the racer from TOO MUCH RAIN :-D

The race was on ABC, 9:30 AM PDT. No qualifying show on NBC Sports(old Versus channel).

Chevys didn't do too bad, 7 out of top 10 spots at the finish according to Wind Tunnel.

They were talking early in the show about the Chevy's having a electrical/charging problem. Don't work well with electric activated clutches. Bet that gets changed.

I meant coverage online, I do not have television. I could have watched it live on Justin.tv if I had known it was even on!

We may never see Wayno again. Between Hulu and Justin.tv he will be glued to his computer 24/7! Nice chatting this AM! Glad you got it all working

Yep. Got it going in my own clumsy way.  Thanx Trent. Had the Australian Gran Prix on in the background while doing other stuff. Sure is easier on my race budget than satellite TV.  :-D Wayno

I agree!

Glen, back to the first post. I REALLY like the looks of the new Indycars. It was funny listening to the Euro F1 snobs chat about them during the race.

I agree Trent, I like the appearance on the track but I'm not so sure I'd like to be working on them. It looks to me like it may be more difficult than in the past to get to a lot of things. Tooooo much bodywork.

I like 'em, too.  I didn't think I'd be too crazy about 'em, but they're not bad at all.  A lot better than the current crop of F1 cars with their gargoyles, crenelated turrets and flying buttresses....or whatever other architectural nightmares they tack onto the bodies.  I also like the way the side/rear pods otta prevent a lotta wheel-wheel contact and keep Dario Franchitti from gettin airborne when he runs over someone's rear tire again.
