One thing I find to be eerily similar to the Dahm Bros. car is the rear fender wells, they are both "inside out"?

Right, there are more on The Dahm bros car, but the corner locations match on both front and rear....likely a coinkydink. And they both appear to use snaps, not the twist style.

Snaps and the twist "common sense fastners" were both used in the same timeframes.
