Very nicely done. Now the big question is "How do you convert this to money?"

Good luck. I hope the exposure helps.

We've loaded the NAE for a display at the NHRA Northwest Nationals in Seattle, Aug 3-5. Soon as we get the Eagle back in her nest
we head for Bonneville with wheel driven records in mind. Soon as we return we head for Costa Mesa to be a keynote speaker at
a conference. August will be gone in a blink!

"Out in the cold, rain & snow." it's a Grateful Dead song.
"Sunshine Daydream" would be nicer.  Good luck NAE Team.

We've been in the Alvord Desert all week. Set up on Sunday then woke up to rain at 5 AM. Lakebed turned into mud.
Left everything on the lakebed and staying at the ranch. Then the snow came in! It is now Wednesday and the snow
has stopped. Team will return to lakebed this afternoon to inspect surface and survey the equipment and the racecar.
Very cold! Team has been spending their time designing a new barn for the ranch owner, analysing the stuctural
strength and airflow around the barns and shops. Today, we might laser scan a cow and calculate the maximum speed
one can travel. OOPs, it started snowing again......

Ed

Some say that what you are encountering is the 'curse' of outright record contenders. Visit a desert and even ten year droughts come to an end.  Find the 'perfect track' and the rains (and snow) come early. The list is endless by International names - you are in good company.

Fellow Speed Record Club members hope that you get the break in the weather an Alvord is smoothed out when the water evaporates.

Maybe no news is good news?  I do have to question their secrecy.  Go fast!

I don't consider it secrecy. In my opinion they have been shutout.

They were very open in their invitation to attend the test.

I posted a complete rundown on the test on this forum and it didn't even show up. Guess I'll have to do it all over again!
