Facebook is an odd place for a press release. Can you post a link to it?

Thanks

I tried to post the press release on landracing but the file won't take. We're posting it on our website and
it has gone out to the various news agencies as well. You should see more today...........Ed

Saturday, May 5, we setup and ran the engine in the NAE. Everything went well. On the second engine pull, we had Valerie in the
cockpit. As it was a training period for Valerie, we took our time getting things right and comfortable. At the last part of that run
we had her go into afterburner. It was pretty startling for her on the first go but she is a real trooper and went with it. On the
third engine run, Valerie went throught the whole process with more confidence and went in and out of afterburner severa times.
The media was on the spot and got some really good interviews. We still had a couple hundered gallons of fuel left so I climbed
back into the cockpit and we did a 4th engine run. It was a great day, all went well and now on to the next phase of the project.
Time to start going faaaasssstttt!

It's good that you are still progressing with the program, Ed. Do you have videos of the runs you want to share?

Working on permits in two locations. Government beaurocracy can be overwhelming at times. Just have to be patient I guess.
If all goes well, the female record will fall this year and maybe the absolute record too........Check out the video.

Thanks for the video clip. It is amazing that the car didn't break loose and start flying. Lots of noise and power...

BTW, we have three 1800 lb concrete blocks buried 6' deep to hold her down. We're using the same tie down
points on the fuselage that was used when it was still an airplane. All our engine guys and crew chief were
Air Force guys who worked on F-4's, F-16's etc. They've trimmed J-79's at full power in their previous life.

Ok, we are ready for the big news!  It would be understandable if you decide to wait till July 4th for a big announcement.  Yeee Haw go USA!!!

Still waiting for news from BLM on permits. Eagle is ready to go. Just doing small stuff, details, details!  We will be on display at the
O'Reilly NHRA Nationals in Seattle, Aug 3-5. Also have a couple speaking engagements after Bonneville. One in Costa Mesa and
the other one at the International Machine Tools Symposium in Chicago. Gotta keep the sponsors happy!
Still looking for a title sponsor but in the mean time, we're still selling pencils on the street corner.

It is too bad though that the USA (like Canada) is so bureaucratically structured that it takes approval override from the top in order to get a lot of things done. Heck, if it was giving foreign aid to some tin pot dictator ruled country where an earthquake or flood struck, the money would have departed and been "siphoned off") within a few days of the event....
