Gearheads Cookbook
« on: February 12, 2012, 12:22:57 PM »
Hi, Bob the Web Elf here.  I hope I don't run afoul of forum commercial rules here....

Because of the stuff I do on Landracing.com, I got contacted by a guy named Steve Ward, who lives around Spokane.  He's into the 36hp racing as well as autocross, motorcycle trials, and about anything else mechanical.  Anyway, he was writing a "Gearheads Cookbook" and hired me to do a site for it.  The book's done and in print, and I think it's pretty fun.  I don't get anything from the book sales, I just thought I'd tell you all about it.

I've seen it, it's cute, and no, I don't object to it be listed "for sale" here.  Thanks, Bob, for bringing it to our attention.

Now -- any progress on getting the "Recently discussed topics" back on the home page?

Forum Latest Posts:  There really isn't any plugin that will work with the version of our main site *and* the version of the Forum.  Yes, there was one before, but after the upgrade, that won't work.  We bought a plugin that will work with the next version of the Forum, and we intend to install that when we can.  Right now, I'd like to let the dust settle a bit before upgrading the forum further.  Stay tuned....
