When I stopped by wayno's house in May, I was impressed with the workmanship on the car-until I sat in it!

Man, I was then blown away-it has more room for the driver, and is more comfortable than my coupe!

Kudos, Wayno!
With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

You can't make a race horse out of a pig. But if you work hard enough at it you can make a mighty fast pig. - Bob Akin

Final speed was 137 with a mostly stock 59A Flathead. 274 inches, Max 1 cam and no porting. It had a self imposed 4,000 rpm rev limiter.  I had gobs o' fun.  Wayno

Anyone who owns a GoPro will know what this shot is about.....it's three guys sayin'..."is it on?......I dunno, what does that flashing red light mean?"

I had a great time with Wayno, Brooke and particularly Gus.....

Wayno, I'm tired of driving I-80.  May I come through Salinas on my way to St. George?  Is your lash-up hard to find?  I'll pay not to put squash in my car before I leave.

It was good to meet you there on the salt even if you weren't feelin the best........

It was a 24 hour bug of some kind, allowing me to sleep through the day's webcast along with everyone else out in listeining land.

My wife called tonight, asking when I'd be home.  I told her the 12th, 12th of Neveruary, that is.  Just kidding.  I have some stops to make on the way to Interstate 40, which runs right through Webster Groves.  I'll get home eventually, but there is a bike chassis to look at in Tulsa.

Played HQ Rear Window earlier today.

MM, seems music is not my forte this time, what with the announcing team here.  However, I'll try to remember to start with it in the a.m., but definitely toss it in the juke box if the course shuts down for a clean up or something.  I'm out of lager, no one comes to visit 'cept Grumm who I learned is the bike guy in the crowd, so a few lies and Dodge lies eminate from my grizzled pie hole.

I was able to spend a short time in Wayno's pit and experience his joy at how his tank performed.  He was the perfect picture of a happy man.  Had a smile wider than the Grand canyon and as giddy as a 10 year old with a new pony!  Congrats my friend, you may not have been the fastest man on the salt this year but I challenge anyone to find a more pleased or happy one!
