You going to sleeve the 2 cylinders or go further Wayno?
Do you know someone that can sonic test the block for you?

If you've struck water in a couple cylinders you got to be a bit suss on the rest of them.

Thanx Grumm. Somehow I made it to 65 in spite of myself.  tongue Jon, That's what I'm thinking. I have a few blocks stashed away and I'm pulling them out today. I'm going to go over everything carefully before I do something stoopid and costly. The $300 to do a couple of sleeves on a suspect motor could go a long way to boring another block that I'm more comfortable with.  wink I bought that motor for the express purpose of not having to build one while I was building the car. Maybe porkchops on the plate, but that P38 is lightning in a bottle.  cheers  cheers  cheers

Happy Birthday, Wayno.

I agree with Jon, especially if you've got spare blocks.  It'll be a PITA, but you'll know where it stands when you hit the salt.

The build is too fine to roll with a question mark that big.

Wayno,Happy Birthday my friend. cheers

Wow -- you're that old? evil  I'm still a loooooongway from that magic number -- turning 64 in four days.

Happy Birthday, and many (more)  happy returns of the day from both Nancy and me.

Nancy's moved in with Glen?  (Nice job of editing,  Jon).

Happy birthday, Boy Racer!

Happy Birthday Wayno, wasn't sure if Grum was just taking the Plymouth.

Bummer about the motor if you bought it and wasn't something you had laying about.

You know what's going to happen now, bore = new piston= may as well bump the compression =should tidy up the ports = a bit more cam = if I'm going to turn it harder I should do something with the bottom end and oil system.

Never can get the worms back in once you open it up.
