Marty, what event? Bub number?  SCTA number?  If you included a link it might be easier to answer your questions.

Marty, go onto the BUB Speed Trials website for the year of the race.  Look at the pre-entry list and the run logs for the bike with that no.  Also, look in Scooter's book on his Scooter Grubb website.  He has a list of bikes and entrants in his book.

That tail may not be legal for Bub as of last years rules, I'd need my measuring tape to be sure.  YMMV (your measuring may vary  :-D )  Keep reading the rules and asking questions, but you might want to see the updated Bub rules before you get too deep into it.

that video shows an Airtech Hayabusa drag bike fairing ... I think it is a 10" over ... read the rules carefully - back when I used one I had to cut it off even with the rear edge of the tire ... looks like that one was done same way ...

Hey Joe,
I think you nailed it. What had me guessing is that it has been shortened and thats awesome. I believe I will do same thing. I belive I can go 8inches past rear edge of tire in A-AF?? Thank you very much for the help

check the 2012 rules before you cut it ... this is an 8" over Airtech ... It is cut to the vertical line at the end of the tire ... a much younger version of the undersigned in the photo.
