"Actually under the SCTA rules the Turbo would only bump you 2 motor classes..."

Dan --

It's the seldom-seen 1943 Rule Book.  Running fuel bumps you another class, so the Mitsubishi would run C.  Except in '43, some might be shooting that down.

I thought it may be in the only copy of the 1974 book, owned by the Propster.

It's probably the old rule, Manghelli ran the Blue Volkswagen Mini-truck in MMP with a Turbo that bumped him up 2 engine classes until BMMP was created.

I don't know that he's running fuel, unless he's added a meth/water kit...
Don't think he needs to add N20 to the 2.0L with 40psi  :-D

Mike is running E95, It's considered fuel, I was considering E85 but alas, no Fuel Class for /BMMP

Why would you use a 2006 rulebook when we are entering the 2012 season?

Old saying - "That was then, this is now." You may be classified as a propster supporter by falling back on an old, obsolete rulebook. Are you looking to run against the record listed in that book?

No Dan, I'm happy with they way things are now, the only records I run on are my own  :-D
Now in 2006 there was a particular one I was after but World Finals got rained out!

The discussion started about the tongue in cheek theory of Richen's Evo competing in the Informal Wilmington C Motor Challenge. My point was even under the old rules the turbo still didn't get him into the C class motor.

Propster is just a loon that cuts and pastes previous rants on a subject from one board to another once he gets a rube to argue with.

I'm not a loon (yet) and you are no rube my friend:-D

Ron Main voiced his new theory Saturday night:

"To copy another's idea as your own is plagiarism. In LSR to copy everyone's ideas is research."

I think we know where that one points.

So, who one this?
With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

You can't make a race horse out of a pig. But if you work hard enough at it you can make a mighty fast pig. - Bob Akin
