I talked to Tonya today and my entry is confirmed and I am booked at the Holliday Inn Express. I have chassis dyno time reserved for early march and contracted for some performance modifications which should produce 40+or- hp.

George --- not often it is 60 degrees on Long Island in January.  This is all because I finally finished installing the heat in my garage.   My bio clock thought it was spring and I started cleaning up the garage.  I am registered for the Ohio meet but dont have room yet ... I have to wait to see how many are going. Right now looks like my nephew Joe and brother in law John.

Charles,
I sent in my entry for April.  Doug Wotring, Eric Roehrle, and I have 2 rooms at the Wilmington Inn as well.  Nice to know there's a bar next door....
I will be running my Red Honda 125cc 2stroke that sounds like an angry mosquito.  I chose APS/F-125/2.  I think the record is open...oh wait...they're all open.  I am not sure but I may run with a new tail streamlining but that would mean I need to design new paint and graphics to go with the new shape.
I also may run Nitrous on the 2 stroke finally.  September and October were my non-nitrous shakedowns for this engine and all went well.  But harder to run nitrous consistently on cold mornings with limited battery power for bottle heater.  Yes I know that a cold bottle makes the NOS pressure drop which makes the AF richer and safer but consistent is better to make alterations in jetting for the limited number of runs we will get this first meet.
See you in less than 4 months.

Dr. J, is your bottle heater built for 12VDC or 110VAC?  If the latter -- just have a generator with you as you are in line, keeping the bottle in heating mode 'til you get to about the pressure you want.  Then - disconnect the heater and make your run.  Yes, the dropping pressure will cool the bottle -- but it's only seconds, not long minutes, and the drop shouldn't be too serious.  Well -- how big is the bottle?  Maybe it will make a difference.

Back to the bottle heater -- if you can find a battery wrapping-heater, but it.  WalMart used to have 'them and I bought a couple for use up here when my car/truck was stationed outdoors and I lived directly on the shore of Lake Superior.  It worked.  The heater is a water/acid proof thing, about 6" tall and 18 or 22" long, and runs on the afore-mentioned 110VAC.  It won't make the bottle too hot - doesn't draw that much current nor generate that many BTUs, but it will make a good difference.  I've used it on the 10# bottle on our ZX12R - and it was a dandy way to warm the nitrous container.  And WAY WAY cheaper than a "bottle heater" bought from a nitrous company.  I think the ones I got were about $8 - 10 each.  If not WalMart - try your local big box good hardware store or a farm supply store or such.
