Mark--Maybe I won`t have to spend so much time down at the pit re-inspecting if you run this one. Sounds like way more weight and gear, and you`ll get your goal....second thought, maybe the cooler might need some reinspection.......Looking forward to seeing this one...

We are thinking the same thing!! Our crew member Chris ( aka angry youth) built this car about the same time as the Roadster so a lot of the components are the same so we can use a lot of the same info from the Roadster. We have a little more room in this car for accessories like weight and it shouldn't have quite the amount of unbalanced aero as the Roadster!! We would be glad to see you and Adam under different circumstances this year !!

Neat! Instead of cutting up that beautiful car, I'll sell you a 64 that's already run B'ville (cheap)

Howdy, Mr. New Guy Motormouth.  Welcome to the Forum.  I'm Jon, a/k/a Seldom Seen Slim, the guy that operates the Forum.  I - and all of us - enjoy having folks that haven't been members sign up so they can become regulars at enjoying what goes on here.  Do us all a favor, if you will -- and tell us where the heck is "Coalfield".  I can think of a few states that might have such a town.  And while you're at it, please go back to the Profile that you filled out during the registration process and put your location there so we'll know where you are in each and every post you make.  Beware -- if you don't I might just take the initiative and assign a state to you

Wherever you're from -- it's good to have you here.  Thanks for joining.  Be a regular, hey?

Thanks , at Speedweek my crew ( guys in mohawks ) talked with you about your car . We don't consider it cutting up just improving ! An on line article was wrote up on the car, we were excited about the interest in it!

Has the thrashing started or is this one so easy ya'll are done already!
Let me know if I can help in anyway, I'm pretty good at making beer disappear.

Still looking at doing some dyno pulls before WOS, just to get a baseline for the Stude. I'd like to pick your brain on what to bring to a tune session.

Things are coming together nicely !! The new front suspension  is in and motor plates are almost done . We are making the front end removable in one piece for easy servicing ( there is a lot more room for stuff compared to a Roadster!). When I get some time I'll post some good pictures .
Yes we will be doing another day on the dyno . We changed a few things in the carb but other than that just a complete freshen up , lifters , springs , rings , and bearings.

Kool build, but If you run Gas Coupe, you need to retain the stock frame.  Tony

Whoops  C classic blown gas alt record ''2011 rulebook'' is 224+ about 5 mph faster than gas coupe.

Intering 1015 hp-- .4 cd --24 sq ft frontal area --3500 lbs 2.75 gear.. ect  Bonneville Pro predicts.

   New record.. 226.4 mph

         Good luck   JL222

One good thing about altered is a spoiler 8-) and spill plates.

Just a WAG on CD- frontal area and weight.
