Another good deterient is a can of Berryman's Chemtool.

I came to this revelation spraying a carb and getting a little splash back some time ago.

My lighter is a Ronson with leather around it.

I've had it since my parents were married.

I never know when I may need it.

Joe,

I prefer my .308 Tactical Rifle w/ Nikon 6x24 power Scope.
"reach out and touch someone"

With this combo,,, popping cantelopes off a fence post at 1000 yards is a piece of cake.

I still think stoning on the court house lawn would be the most appropriate. What ever happened to drawing and quartering?

What ever happened to drawing and quartering?

I think it lost it's appeal over here after the decimal system was introduced, "drawing and multiplying by 0.25" just didn't have much of a ring to it.
Just another case of good things disappearing because of "progress".

I should go and do something

When in the casino parking lots, look to the lights   rolleyes  as in....look for the cameras.  Park where the cameras are pointed, lock your stuff up.  Nugget has minimal outside camera coverage; Rainbow West parking lot is NOT a good place to leave your race trailer; Garter, well it's the Garter, nuff said there! Montego parking is good by the employee parking, but NOT next to the Boulevard, duh, no brainer there! Same at Peppermill, check the cameras on the light poles, then park accordingly.  There are no more thefts in Wendover than anywhere else, we're just more vocal about it!

Lynda, happy Easter. I talked to Larry Volk yesterday and he said the pumping was done for the season. Said there is a lot of standing water on the salt. Have you been out to the end lately to see.

Lynda - unfortunately, most of us have to deal with the parking situation based on the deal that getting rooms in Wendover gives us.... but double locks and shrill alarms seem to act as a deterrent....

I remember several years ago, someone stole the right side rear quarter window out of my Chevy ext cab truck.... NOTHING in the truck was taken!.... I figured that they stole it because of the Bonneville 200 MPH Club sticker in the window!.... No more decals have been put on my windows since then.

I've been fairly paranoid about driving across the country towing my enclosed trailer and spending nights in New York, Illinois or Iowa, etc., but luckily, without incident.  I have a big cable and lock I sometimes thread thru my trailer wheels and the frame to slow down would-be thieves.  What I really wanted to do was to get my vinyl graphics guy to decorate the whole trailer with skunks and minks with the slogan "Small Stinky Animals -- We Show the Best and Gut the Rest," as a deterrent, but my wife wouldn't let me.  Would have been more appropriate if I had been racing two-stokes!
