Most pickup/van combos with small enclosed trailers are still going to exceed 24' and needing the tow vehicle for transportation means disconnecting for the event anyways.  Even those with short combos will need space on one side to park unless they can reposition tow vehicles in front of the trailers.  I am still thinking parking parallel to the runway in pairs of similar sized combos will make the best use of the space especially if the all park their tow rigs perpendicular once unhooked.  I am not worried, just looking to the future.

Camping/overflow pits close outside the gate along with permission to run race vehicles the brief section of road into the track could be a potental solution.  There is a tech school along with commercial businesses down there that might be willing to deal if the need arises.  Maybea partnership with the tech school on a smaller scale then what the SCTA has with the military...

I told you charles, wash the trailer. Leave it in the drier extra long. Problem solved. I'm not worried I put all the money in the race car and can't afford the 2000ft hauler. But I'm faster   8-) :-D

Guys, the PIT WIDTH IS 24 FEET WIDE. You CAN NOT take any more width than 24 feet. You can take what ever LENGTH you need! Charles, you CAN angle a 40 foot trailer in 24 feet so you can load/unload. Go try it...it works.

Maybe the words to use are DEPTH and LENGTH.

Boys and girls, please check out the map again. The pits are 24' deep facing the grass or 24' wide looking down the taxi way. there are no markings laying out a 24' "long" pit space and I don't believe the ECTA has enough cones to mark pit spaces?

Charles you really dont want to take that challenge. It would be c motor vs c motor. If we were to do it Id put a $200 spot on the time bomb.

Charles, I didn't think you could cram all of your money (in 100's) into a 2000' trailer.
