World of Speed 8 - 11 September, Top Speed Shootout 15 - 19 September. Sounds like we might have a few days to spend on a boat on Lake Powell, or maybe in Las Vegas.

I'm in the process of marking race dates on the calendar and just discovered that the 2012 Shootout is scheduled for a Saturday through Wednesday. In previous years it's been a Sunday through Friday/Saturday - so I'm wondering if I've got the wrong dates posted up here. Or - is the Shootout changing a bit? I need to know to arrange for someone to run our store/shop while we're gone - and home for one week out of the month of September, with nine days of looking out the windshield of the pickup. So much for the color season (again) this year.  |
