Yesterday Carol & I spend the day at the Lions Drag Strip reunion held at the Museum. The land speed cars and other LSR items are great. One whole section (wing) is LSR. When Wally started the museum he wanted to have the LSR section to show where it all started.there is about 12 cars on display along with the old timing stand and so much in the display cases to see. LOTS OF PHOTOS from the old days. Don't miss going if you are in the area you wont be sorry.

"Do miss going if you are in the area you wont be sorry."

That's a typo, right, Glen?

Question to all you so-cal'ers. How long does it take to drive from Long Beach to the NHRA museum on a Saturday and the best freeway (710, 605, or 57)It's been awhile since I have driven down there.

On Saturday take the 57 north to the San Berdo I-10 east and the 1st. turn off is Fairplex dr. Take it north to McKinley and turn right for about 1 mile and it's on the left. Driving time is about 1 hour.Enjoy and take a camera and money for the goodie store.

The other option is the 605 to the I-10 might be the best way .

Thanks Glen. I was thinking 57 also but it's been 20+ years since I drove around LA. Will be there in April with a day to kill.
