Smoke = 2011 NASCAR champ

I know that NASCAR talk is frowned upon here, I am a supporter of that.

A rainy Sunday at home, two guys, 3 points apart for the championship lined up for a 400 miler.

A great race, a better outcome. Smoke starts 15th, Edwards from the pole. At one point Smoke is in 40th place. He races to the front, wins the race and the big trophy on equal points. His overall number of wins does the deed. As it should be, the guy with the most wins - wins.

NASCAR has hit the tuneup with this new points structure.

  Yea, Smoke worked his way from the back twice. What a driver :-o

Yes, great race, great chase and the correct outcome..

Hmm made me wanna drive stock cars,,, then I rememered,, I can't fit through the windows !!! :cheers:

A great ending to the season. Driving actually won out. But I have to like and admiire Carl Edwards -- a guy who makes NASCAR money and buys a house on the street he grew up on just down from his folks.

Just as an aside then you might like Sebastian Vettel, twice Formula 1 world champion, who's only car is a Volkswagen van. :-o :-o :-o
