Many times you can get car weighed at a local  feed mill or grain store etc... junk yards, land fills.. truck stops etc  have scales..

that will not give u 4 corner weights but will give u total weight.

u can also call local  modified, short track or other local round track racers... most of them have 4 corner scales,,,

good luck..

I get front and rear weights at Seaside Mulch in Wilmington but no 4 corner which would be nice.  I just pull the front on and get a weight, then back the rear on and repeat, followed by the whole car.  So far the front and rear added up is pretty close to the total but I guess there COULD be a difference.  Mike has a great solution there, too.

Across the street from the food loin in swansboro there is a recycle place on Leslie Ln ,it's like 5 bucks to get it weighed.

Why not go Dan's idea a bit farther - and park one wheel at a time on the scale?  Again, as Dan mentioned, the totals might not add up to precisely the total weight of all four at once, allowing for both inherent scale repeatability issues as well as weight transfer not allowed because of a stiff chassis, but it should give you a close approximation.  Try, of course, to find a scale where the approach is flat - not a scale that's up on a platform, for instance -- so you don't get results skewed by the goofy angle at which the car has to be parked.

Thanks for that Mr. Slim, I'm definitely on the cheap. I might go find the place across from the Food Lion for 5 bucks.

The other 3 wheels should be the same height as the scale to take out twist loading, 2 x8's would work maybe with a shim to keep it even.
