Today will start 2012 build for Bonneville. Finished the car in time for 2010, barely, however did make the event. It was a little short on paint and other amenities. We ran as a G/GMS and brought it home in one piece. Now, will rebuild and repower/class change D/GMS....lots of things have to be fabricated and designed. Will post pics from time to time...will start with headers, motor mounts and exhaust exit...Thanks ll for input in the original build.

Excellent news, Udo. The original was a stellar build - I've no doubt this will be its equal.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925 You can't make a race horse out of a pig. I'll be watching with intent as I have a '64 Spitfire begging for the Modified sport treatment.

Hi all.....Going to use a standard dimension 302 sbc with a custom fuel injection to clear body work. Haven't finalize injector design yet. System will include a nitrous capability....never run it.... always wanted to (just happen to have complete 125 sitting around garage). This should keep me busy over the winter.

Udo, I'm glad that you found the other 4 cylinders. This will make you feel more comfortable (and Faster)
Keep us posted and I'm happy that you are not running BGMS.

Hi Dave, If I had the G motor my headers would be done, soooo, four more pipes to go. Started on other side, should have them done by next week. Made paper templet for exhaust/body pass thru, SS piece will be a little harder to make. Will have to fab some brackets/tank mounts. Some pics of progress.....

Udo, Great looking headers, as we would all expect from this project. Next time you reduce the pictures don't make them so small, 12 K bit makes them so small that when I enlarge them they are just a bunch of small squares.
Great job though.
