Fs:1970 AMC Javelin SST
« on: November 08, 2011, 10:22:28 PM »
Up forsale is a 1970 AMC Javelin SST that my dad has had garaged for the longest time. The car is Super clean and is all original. Has its original 360 engine with 83,xxx miles in it. Runs smooth, idles, drives and handles like it was new. The exterior of the car is really good for its age chrome still shines like new, NO RUST, all original badges/emblems The interior is MINT no rips, tears, stains, no cracked dash or wear on carpet or seats. Was always well maintained, Has a clean original colorado title. By original i mean the small yellow title from when the car was purchased. He's asking $9,000 or best offer
Car is located in Denver, Co
Thanks

Great looking car, your Dad took very good care of it!

Wish I was in the market for another car but 3 is enough for right now.
I've always had a soft spot for the AMC cars, my Dad worked as a mechanic at a Hudson dealership when I was small.
I've had several AMC cars including a Gremlin back in the late 1990's I drove it until parts started to fall off. It was a great little car.
At the time I bought it I was looking for a clean Javelin but could not find one.

4 Speed or Auto?

Had a '69 AMX that we used to Drag Race. Like many other cars, I wish I still had it!

@ HotRod, thanks man it is a nice car but we need the space to move the 72 corvette stingray over in its spot to finish up that old project.

Wow, that is a really nice piece & worth every bit of the price tag.
So is it going to Ozz??
I had a 68 copper bronze SST during the 80's when I lived in Sydney, sold it to a guy in SA for $7500 back then.
Still have an AMC thing going with the turbo'd 401 in the street tank.
