If we're going to continue with the White Castle thread of vital information - I think it's time to remind you of the danger of abbreviating the name into "W.C." -- as Jack Paar did learn oh so many years ago.  Remember -- W.C. can stand not only for the Porcelain Palace of Fine Food, but also for "Wesleyan Church" and also "water closet" (a British term, mostly, for bathroom or, more specifically, the toilet itself).  Paar told a joke on air (on the very long time ago "Tonight" show) that used the last two of the meanings of "w c" interchanged accidentally -- and he got a few laughs, but - this being during the days of ever-so-proper on-air etiquette and never mentioning the toilet and a church in the same sentence -- he got fired from the program.

Moral of the story:  When talking about food that's cooked on a steam-heated grill you should make it clear that you're not referring to a church or bathroom fixture.  Got it?  Thanks.

White Castle does have wc's - you order at the counter and you can return the sliders later in the wc!  :-D

Slim, I guess this means you are caught up on your engraving orders!

Now where did I put that White Castle coupon? :?

Well, Slim, it occurs to me that if you're using the W.C. at a W.C., you're simply recycling.

Woody, I'm happy to report that we're in no way caught up on orders at Kudos Laser.  Business continues to be fine and dandy.  I am caught up with the ECTA plaque orders, though -- save that I've got to make another batch of the plaques thanks to the many requests that have showed up in the past few days.  But that's not a big deal now - can work them into the schedule between this job of making hundreds of "gift cards" for a local restaurant.

Note, on the White Castle subject, that the mirror in the men's room(s) are polished stainless steel.  I presume that's their effort to keep mirror breakage down to a minimum.

On the subject of food, we need to speak with the Bojangles folks about putting one in Wilmington.  :-D    I basically live on cajun fillet biscuits when I am in NC.

There's one right at the end of my street in Wilmington.  Is it my (and Bojangle's) fault that they selected the wrong Wilmington?

Jon - notice I wrote "WC" and not "w.c."  At one time in my life I was a plumber and I KNOW this stuff!  Jack was speaking those letters and it's difficult to distinguish upper case and lower case, as well as "." following the letters.  Now, the church thing is more difficult but I have worshiped at the White Castle.

Funny thing is I get a belly ache every time I eat White Castle Belly Bombs but I keep going back for more.  A lot like land speed racing.

Two words - "Crave Case".  Only bought one once and I felt like one of the Blues Brothers carrying it out of the place.

There is nothing in Wilmington, Ohio that resembles Cajun food,  you will have to bring your own. After living for 24 years in the south I can tell you that no matter what the sign says on the front of the resturant in Ohio the food will taste like some variation of roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy. Sorry, you don't come to Ohio for the weather or the food. But we do have a 9,000 ft. runway.

Bruce-

I think '5-way" chili qualifies as a unique southwestern Ohio dish that doesn't taste like potatoes...!

O.K. I left myself open for that, and if you have seen me I don't miss many meals even in Ohio. But I do prefer Texas chili to Cincinati style, and BarBQ is not pulled pork. That aside the people in Wilmington are working on thier best recipes you will be well fed when you come to Ohio. and don't forget the $3.50, 32 oz. draft beer at the Mexican resturant.

Cincinati chili creates the same barking and whistling spiders as Texas chili. The importance difference being the barks are filtered thru boxers and the whistles by a thong.
