So, I'm thinking what the pro and con airflow wise to changing just a hood.
The truck is a 95 GMC 1500 Extended Cab Short Bed Turbo Diesel
Thinking of adding a 2.5" Cowl to the truck verses the stock hood. I'm not a fan of just changing something for the sake of looks so if the cowl hood hurts performance by changing airflow around the truck then I'd stay away from it. On the other hand if it helps, I'll certainly do it. One of the biggest pro's I've discovered about a cowl hood is that cooling performance is improved, so I'd like to use it but not at the cost of speed.
Thoughts?
